Mission and Goals as TMA President Elect

As the TMA President Elect, I promise to structure one of the best administered organizations that will be responsive to its members, supportive of the leadership and a true advocate for our mission. I will address:

• Unifier – unite all physicians working in different settings (Private Practice, Employed, Academic and Military setting) for common goal so we can all advocate in one voice
• Work with the leadership to achieve TMA’s short- and long-term goals.
• Develop TMA 2030 vision and strategic plan.
• Utilize TMA’s membership strength to create and lobby for meaningful legislative agenda at the state and federal level.
• Create a common platform for communicating national issues through AMA delegation
• Strengthen base of TMA by empowering county societies
• Widen philanthropic arm of TMA by supporting TMA foundation activities
• Increase TMA membership by 10%
• Increase involvement of medical students, residents, fellows, young physicians and enhance their involvement in TMA.
